Welcome Home Elder Cottman!

Well, I have been somewhat neglectful in posting but something very exciting happened this week...My little bro Zack came home from his mission! He served in the New Zealand, Auckland mission and got home Tuesday 11.18.08. I think he's trying to adjust to post-mission life, but he looks good.

Josh and I met while Zack was on his mission, so this was the first time they were going to meet. It was really funny because when we were at the airport, my parents and all the aunts, uncles, grandparents, siblings, etc were standing around watching the electronic board waiting for his plane to say that it had "landed" and all of the sudden Josh says to me very calmly, "oh, there he is right there." Yep, there was Zack coming down the escalator and no one noticed except the only person who had never seen him before. I screamed, Zack grinned, and everyone went into picture-taking frenzy. It was a lot of fun and it is good to have him home. Welcome back Zackaweena!

Candie and the Triathalite

Candie, joined Brooke Trogdon in Redding on Saturday November 1st for her first triathlon ever. She had been working out since Sept 22, 2008 to prepare to swim, run, and ride her bike.
Candie has this list of things that she wants to do in her lifetime, and now she can check the triathlon box off.
Candie and Josh drove up to Redding with their friends Brooke and Joe Trogdon on Halloween night, and enjoyed a stay at the La Quinta hotel.
The beds were terrible, but fortunatley Candie and Brooke were able to both finish their competition the next day.
Congrats Candie and Brooke!
